Bords Irréguliers
Les contours d'un mélanome débutant sont souvent dentelés, festonnés ou mal délimités.

Smooth, sharp, distinct perimeter

Frayed, ragged, or leaking pigment

Couleur Hétérogène
La présence de plusieurs nuances au sein d'une même lésion (brun, noir, rouge, blanc) est un signal majeur.

Single uniform brown or tan shade
⚠ Warning Sign:
Mottled colors, jet black or reddish patches

Diamètre Supérieur à 6 mm
Un mélanome présente souvent un diamètre supérieur à 6 mm (taille d'une gomme de crayon).
✔ Benign Normal:
Small spot (< 6mm across)
⚠ Warning Sign:
Growing beyond 6mm or larger than other moles

Evolving & Changing
Any change in size, shape, elevation, color, or symptoms (itching, bleeding, crusting) is the single most critical indicator of malignancy.
✔ Benign Normal:
Static appearance month after month
⚠ Warning Sign:
Visible changes over weeks or months
